On the 3rd of Febuary, the unit had a Louhei Session and welcomed the Sec 1 cadets to the unit.
Dunman Secondary School's annual CCA fair to attract the Secondary 1s to different CCAs was full of energy by not just our cadets but their schoolmates from other CCAs. The local NPC has also helped us alot by providing a Patrol Escort Tactical Response Van along with a riot shield and helmet. They also helped in attracting Secondary 1s to our CCA. We managed to attract an astounding number of Secondary 1s thanks to our cadets and the NPC's support.
On the 22nd and 23rd of October the Sec 2s and some Sec 3s went on a 1 star kayaking course to earn their certificate. They had tons of fun during the kayaking course while also learning new techniques for kayaking and survival tips out in the ocean.
On the 20th of October the Sec 3s did their Police Youth Ambassador project at MOE Kindergarten located next to our school. The Sec 2s also performed their VIA by giving out phamplets to members of the public.
On the 4th and the 5th of September the Sec 2s and 3s attended a shortened 2D1N Adventure/Survival Training Camp. Many of them had fun and made new friends with other cadets from Area 8. Even though the camp was shortened, everyone still showed much enthusiasm during the entire camp. We are also glad to announce that Zakeerah was 1 of the 2 best female campers among the Sec 2 campers. The camp ended on a high note as everyone bid their farewells to their new friends.
